The words "Saliva", sounds a bit disgusting to the ear, but keep in mind that human saliva actually has some merit. Clear liquid produced by living things contains some elements such as electrolyte which contains elements of Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Glycoproteins, antibacterial compounds, and various other enzymes. According to the research team from the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB), a substance contained in human saliva can speed wound healing. The research team identified that "histatin", a small protein in human saliva is believed to kill bacteria in wound healing. In addition, the compounds can be mass produced so that it has the same potential with the anti-biotic cream rubbing alcohol or drugs.
